Leighton Meester to 'Make It Rain' With Lil Wayne for New Album

For her not-yet-titled studio album, Leighton Meester will join forces with Lil Wayne in a song called 'Make It Rain'.

From hooking up with Robin Thicke on the her debut single "Somebody to Love", Leighton Meester is now cooking up new track with Lil Wayne. The Blair Waldorf of "Gossip Girl" will be teaming up with the rap mogul on a song called "Make It Rain".

"I sent him a couple of my songs," Leighton told MTV. "He's been diggin' on them for a while. Then he heard ['Make It Rain'], and he was like, 'All right, I'm gonna kill it!' " Praising Weezy as a "talented and very funny" man, she added, "[He's] really optimistic, and super supportive of me, which I've really, really appreciated so much."

"It was like, literally, 4 o'clock in the morning," she went on recalling Weezy's studio session. "He was so sick - he didn't even write anything down. He just, like, vibed to the music and dances. I don't even know how he does it; he's amazing."

Described as a snapshot of her life, Leighton Meester's first studio effort is rumored to be self-titled. Up to date, no release date has been set in stone for the album.
