Joseph Don "Dandy Don" Meredith (April 10, 1938 – December 5, 2010) was an American football quarterback in the National Football League who played nine full seasons in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys, and a football commentator and actor.
Don Meredith, an all-pro quarterback who made his greatest impact on the game after he finished playing, died Sunday at a Santa Fe, New Mexico, hospital, according to a spokesman. Meredith, above at center, was 72.
