BIO:
FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT MY HOMETOWN/COUNTRY:
My favorite things I love about The Bahamas are the atmosphere, culture and my people. It feels great to be surrounded by clear blue waters filled with fresh fish and conch, which are so delicious because of the many ways they are prepared and melts in one's mouth. Our culture is like no other place in the world due to our unique, upbeat parade called Junkanoo. The thrill of seeing the amazing costumes and the joy of my people parading in the street dancing to the music is so tantalizing I wish it would never end. Not to mention the hard-work and effort to create and paste each costume is phenomenal, which shows some of our great talents at its best. No matter where you may go, you will always be able to recognize a true Bahamian, and the first question asked, "Who are your people?" This starts the conversation, which ends in meeting new relatives and reinforces the saying "All of we are one family."

LIFE’S AMBITIONS:
The forces that drive me to be ambitious are what every human deserves and needs: love, care, and attention. Everyday I try to perform an act tending to those delicate components, which makes us human and better people. In doing this, my success is not an option but given. "Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally" (David Frost).

HOBBIES:
Modeling, Acting, Writing, Dancing, Listening to Music, Public Speaking, Hosting Events, Learning New Information, and Holding Conversations with people

MY GOALS IN LIFE:
In five years, I would love to have worked with the best professionals in the medical, modeling, and acting industries, while using their knowledge to explore and utilize limitless opportunities. One of my major goals is to start a non-profit organization geared towards HIV/AIDS and cancer patients, and I would love to have this organization completely established. Hopefully, I will be Miss Bahamas 2011 and a great ambassador of our Bahamian nation, while representing our awesome country to the best of my abilities. Our foundation as a country is built with some of the most dedicated and hard working people in the world, and I believe we are the depiction of Albert Einstein's Three Rules of Work: Out of clutter find simplicity; From discord find harmony; In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. Our forefathers taught us these in different words, and we should never forget that as long as we move FORWARD, UPWARD, ONWARD, and TOGETHER, we will always be okay by God's grace.

MY BEST ASSET IS:
My best asset is my smile. I believe my smile is very inviting and is described as beautiful by many. It is an addition to my presence, which helps me light up a room from a mile away.

MY DAILY PHILOSOPHY IS:
My daily philosophy is: She who stands for nothing will fall for anything. It is very important to be well-rounded and knowledgeable about factors that creates one's morals and values. If not, you may be persuaded into someone else's beliefs. Your morals and values will no longer exist leaving one with the question, WHO AM I or without a "voice".

THE MOVIE (AND/OR BOOK) THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE:
The Bible is the book that influenced and still influences my life. There is nothing like a spiritual meditation with a revelation.

WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY:
The person I would most like to meet is God. He is my best friend, who I can talk to about anything. Even though we have not embraced each other on a physical level, He is always with me as He guides and protects me, while helping me to make the best decisions in my life. Whenever it may be God's will for me to return to His kingdom, I want to be embraced by His Holy presence.

I AM MOTIVATED BY:
Self motivation is a key component, which was instilled in me by my family. If I believe in it or feel compassionate about it, I will give it my all trying my best to leave no room for error. Only I truly know my altitude of potential success and the best I can offer.

WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE?
The most unusual thing I have ever done and sometimes still do is talk to myself. I believe that your "first mind" or instinct is always right. If we tend to listen to our inner voice, which is usually guidance from God, we would escape many mistakes.

BRIEFLY DESCRIBE THE MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF:
The moment I am most proud of is administering my first intravenous injection to a patient. The unique aspect is that every patient is different, so every injection is a challenge. I love challenges, and when working with radio-pharmaceuticals as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, there is no room for error. Therefore, it is a must for me to be successful in every injection I do.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME:
I am a dependable and trustworthy person who tries her best at everything in order to achieve success. Making sure I accomplish the task at hand is a very important step in achieving my goals. Not only am I ambitious, but I am also dedicated and enjoy working with others. I set my goals high; because I never give up and believe that I should always reach for the stars.
