art with umbrellas

We have written about umbrellas in this blog before, but we have always focused on their functional side. After all, functionality is what one

usually asks from this simple object. However, because we are only aware of them when it rains, we pay little attention to their concept, much less to its aesthetic side. If we consider it, the umbrella is a very elegant object, graceful even. That is why it was chosen as a fundamental prop by tight-rope walkers. A few artists share this poetic view and were inspired by the frail object. They have chosen the umbrella as the raw material in their creations and produced beautiful installations
