But Chace Crawford couldn't have looked less bothered as the actress made a move on him on the set of the hit U.S. show.
The pair were pictured sat on a park bench on location in New York yesterday shooting scenes for season four, which premieres later this year.
But when 23-year-old Cassidy - who plays Crawford's character Nate Archibald's new love interest, Juliet Sharp - moved in for the kill, he looked half asleep.
Cassidy, the new sassy student at Columbia University, is seen walking away from Chace in the scene, perhaps unimpressed by his lacklustre efforts.
The former Melrose Place actress looked hot to trot, wearing a a very short grey dress with zip detailing.

With his hands wrapped around her face Boner, 32, who plays FBI consultant Neal Caffrey in the show, certainly appeared to be enjoying himself as he shot scenes for the second season.
Cassidy previously worked with fellow Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg in the remake of Black Christmas and will be starring with Leighton Meester in new movie Monte Carlo.
