She has stopped wearing her wedding ring and moved into a rented accommodation.

But just 24 hours before her husband makes his long-awaited public apology for the sex scandal that has engulfed their lives Elin Nordegren put on a visible show of support for her husband.

The former nanny emerged from her home in Florida sporting clothing made by the golf star's major sponsors.

Elin,30, was decked head to toe in clothing made by the sports firm Nike with their familiar Swoosh logo prominent on each piece.

She wore a white bandana with a blue Nike tick, a grey top sporting a pink swoosh and a pair of black Nike sweat pants.

Even her training shoes were made by the sports giant who have a fiver year sponsorship deal with Woods said to be worth more than £30million.

On previous outings from her rented home in Isleworth, Florida, Elin has not worn any branded clothing linked to her errant husband.

Woods,34, was also wearing Nike in photographs released to coincide with the announcement that he will hold a televised press conference tomorrow to apologise for his past behaviour.

Nike stood firmly stood behind Woods as 12 mistresses came forward to claim they had affairs with him.

As his biggest sponsors their support was seen as crucial and Phil Knight, the co-founder of the sports footwear and clothing giant,described the sex scandal as a "minor blip.

Woods will break a three month his silence today with a statement in which he will address his scandalous behaviour while also announcing a planned return to the sport.

Elin, who has not spoken publicly about her husband's infidelities, will not be by his side for the televised event at the PGA headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

She is expected to remain at her rented home while Woods begins his carefully stage managed return to the public eye.

Woods's statement is expected to last five minutes but he will not answer any questions for the hand picked audience of golf writers.

Since her husband completed a six week sting in rehab for sex addiction her feelings to Woods are said to have softened.
