Brave face: Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher appeared very happy together at the Clinton Global Initiative yesterday
Just a week ago the entertainment world was rocked by the allegations that he had cheated on his wife with some one 26-years younger than her.
Yet Ashton Kutcher, 32, and Demi Moore, 47, appeared as in love as ever as they took the stage at the Clinton Global Initiative's Annual Meeting yesterday.
The cuddly pair showered each other with affection and romantic gazes as they waited patiently for their turn to talk.
The Clinton Global Initiative gathers prominent individuals from an array of backgrounds including politics, science, academics, religion and entertainment to discuss global issues such as climate change and disaster aid.
Ashton and Demi are the co-founders of the DNA Foundation which launched the 'Real Men Don't Buy Girls' campaign which aims to help end child sex slavery
Affection: The pair seemed to be ignoring the rumors circulating that Ashton cheated with a 21-year-old
Look of love: The couple held hands as they waited to speak
The campaign was initially launched during this year's Clinton Global Initiative.
Ashton was part of the panel called Democracy & Voice: Technology for Citizen Empowerment and Human Rights.
On the panel, he discussed how the internet plays such a huge roll in the trafficking of children.
Later, Demi joined her husband for a discussion about their Real Men Don't Buy Girls campaign launch.
Demi described the cause as an initiative that will recruit 'men who are courageous to stand behind the statement that real men don't buy girls.'
Ashton said one of the purposes of their campaign is to 'create a trafficking-free Internet.'
'This is about people treating people like people,' Ashton said of their cause.
All an act: Reports suggest that despite the happy faces there is strain in the five year marriage
Earlier in the day, the couple tweeted about the event, with Ashton writing: 'About to start a panel discussion technology for citizen empowerment and human rights at #CGI2010.'
The actor also tweeted: 'We will be taking your questions as well.'
Despite the show of unity, magazine reports in the U.S suggest that there is strain in the five year marriage.
