10 Black Friday digital camera deals

Canon Rebel T2i DSLR bundle

Best Buy is offering a doorbuster deal on a Canon T2i DSLR bundle for $999—a $300 savings on what you would normally pay for everything that is included in the offer. The bundle includes the 18 mega-pixel Canon EOS Rebel T2i DSLR camera with an 18-55mm image stabilization (IS) lens, a 55-250mm telephoto IS lens, SanDisk 8 GB Ultra SDHC memory card and a camera bag. Since this is a doorbuster, Best Buy is limiting the deal to 6 cameras per store on Friday. Die-hard shutterbugs should get to their local Best Buy early.

Canon PowerShot bundle

If you're the point-and-shoot type, Best Buy has a beginner Canon bundle that might appeal to you. This bundle includes a 14 mega-pixel Canon PowerShot SD1400IS camera with 4x optical zoom and a 2.6-inch screen for $179. The bundle also includes a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, SanDisk 4GB SDHC memory card and a camera bag.

Affordable Flip Ultra HD

Got your eye on a pocket Flip camcorder this holiday season? Head over to Wal-Mart on Black Friday for a $99 Flip Ultra HD Camcorder with 4 GB memory that records 1 hour of HD Video. Normally, this Flip sells for $130.

Canon Rebel XS DSLR bundle

Wal-Mart's got a beginner's Canon DSLR bundle for $479. The bundle features a 10 mega-pixel Canon EOS Rebel XS with an 18-55 IS lens, 2 GB SD memory card, tutorial DVD and camera bag.

Kodak C183

You can save $20 on this simple point and shoot Kodak camera at Wal-Mart priced at $60. The 14 mega-pixel Kodak C183 features 3x optical zoom, 3-inch LCD screen and Kodak EasyShare desktop software to quickly share your pictures online.

Kodak EasyShare

Office Depot is offering the 14 mega-pixel Kodak EasyShare Z981 for $200, a savings of $100. The Z981 features 720p high-definition video capture, 26x optical zoom and 3-inch LCD screen.

Free, Free, Free!

Several stores are offering you free stuff when you buy a digital camera. Office Depot is giving away Vivitar digital camera starter kits for free when you buy a digital camera over $100. The starter kit includes a small camera bag, mini tripod and camera cleaning kit. Office Depot is also offering 50 free 4-by-6 prints when you buy a digital camera.

Staples is offering a (sort of) free Canon Selphy CP800 compact photo printer with the purchase of any digital camera. The downside is you have to pay $50 up front for the printer and then get that money refunded through a mail-in rebate.

Samsung C20 compact camcorder

Head over to Sears on Friday to grab a Samsung C20 compact camcorder for $100 instead of the $180 list price. The C20 features 10x optical zoom, time-lapse recording function, 720-by-480 resolution output and a 2.7-inch LCD viewfinder. This deal will be available in-store only on Friday and Saturday.

Sony handycam

Staples is offering an R68 series Sony Handycam for $290, a saving of $40 off typical list prices. The R68 features an 80 GB hard disk storage for up to 60 hours of standard definition video, 60x optical zoom, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, USB 2.0 port, 2.7-inch widescreen touch panel display. If 80 GB storage isn't enough, the camera supports expanded storage from Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo and SDHC cards.

Sony Bloggie Touch MP4 HD camcorder

Target is selling this Sony Bloggie Touch MP4 HD video camera right now for $150, a $30 price cut, as part of the retailer's pre-Black Friday sale that ends Wednesday.

The device holds 4 GB of 1080p video in MP4 format, and has a 3-inch LCD screen. The camera also captures still images with a 12.8 mega-pixel lens at 4128-by-3096 resolution.
