Two-face baby worshipped as goddess

The baby with two faces, two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes was born on March 11 in a northern Indian village, where she is doing well and is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess, her father said Tuesday.

Two-face baby

BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhuanet)-- An Indian infant girl born with two faces eats and breathes normally despite having two pairs of eyes and lips and two noses, according to the baby's parents quoted by media reports Monday.

The baby, who is yet to be named, was born to factory worker Vinod Kumar and his wife Sushma three weeks ago in northern India. Full story

Drainage Pipe Hotel

The hotel is every bit as strange as the dreams you'll have when you lay your head on their pillows.

Das Park Hotel in Ottensheim, Austria, offers three 10-ton segments of drainage pipe, each 6.5 feet in diameter. You get a lamp, a mattress, a few sleeping bags, and a lockable door.

dasparkhotel is conceived and implemented primarily as a hospitality tool. It is constructed from repurposed, incredibly robust drain pipes. The external simplicity surrounds an unexpectedly comfortable interior - full headroom, double bed, storage, light, power, woolly blanket and light cotton sleeping bag. All other hotelery devices (Toilets, showers, minibar, cafe, etc) are supplied by the surrounding public space.
