"Work Hard, Play Harder" is one of the new materials which will appear in Gretchen's upcoming fourth studio album "I Got Your Country Right Here" which will arrive next year. The song is written by her with the help from John Rich and Vicky McGehee.
Gretchen Wilson, who parted ways with Sony Music Nashville in July, launched her own label Redneck Records earlier this month. "My management and I looked at a lot of different options over the last couple of months, and starting Redneck Records made the most sense to continue the relationships I've built with radio, retail and the fans," she said. "Work Hard, Play Harder" which will come out on October 26 will be the newly-launched label's first release.
