The four-year-old was mesmerised by the different types of heels and boots on sale and seemed particularly fascinated by a pair of gold and diamante stilettos.
Suri, who loves wearing dresses, carrying designer bags and putting on make-up, is so keen to be grown up like mummy Katie Holmes, that she went on the shopping trip in a pair of matching shoes.
Katie Holmes, 31, has been criticised in the past for allowing her daughter to wear dancing shoes with low heels.
But now it seems she has found a new way to make Suri happy, by buying her a matching pair of her own shoes.
They both sported purple ballet pumps as they shopped in Los Angeles yesterday - although Katie wore hers with a pair of white frilly socks underneath.

Matching: Suri wears the same shoes as mummy as they shop in LASuri, in a white sundress with blue flowers, a hairband and pigtails, was carried home by Katie, who a black smock and jeans with shades and an oversize tan handbag.
The youngster appears to be carried everywhere by her mother, despite her growing size, and is allowed to take her blanket too.
And reports in the U.S. claim she continues to drink out of a baby bottle.
On the other hand, she already has a designer wardrobe of her own, estimated by some fashion experts to be worth around £2million, is allowed to wear heeled shoes, have designer handbags and apply lipgloss and blusher.
Katie Holmes has defended her daughter's wardrobe and her wearing heels, despite child experts say they could affect her growth and posture.
Last November she said of Suri: 'She, like every little girl, she loves my high heels.
'They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids,' she said. 'I found them for her and she loves them.'
