Jennifer Ellison swaps boot camp for baby Bobby during family day out

She’s been hitting boot camp to shed her baby weight in recent weeks, but Jennifer Ellison took time out from the gym to enjoy motherhood during a family day out yesterday.

The former Brookside actress took baby Bobby and husband Robbie out for a picnic in sunny Norfolk, showing their family bond is stronger than ever.

Jennifer’s gruelling workout regime seems to have paid off too, as she flaunted her slim post-baby body in a long white summer dress.

As the new mother and father sipped on champagne and showered little Bobby with plenty of kisses, their youngster couldn’t stop giggling.

Bobby seems to have taken some fashion tips from his stylish mother too, as he sported a pastel blue summer jumpsuit.

The 27-year-old new mother gave birth by caesarean in Liverpool Women’s Hospital five months ago and admitted she ballooned from a size eight to 18 during her pregnancy.

Since recovering from the birth, Jennifer enlisted in the No 1 Boot Camp in Norfolk to trim down in preparation for her topless stage appearance in a new production of Calendar Girls.

The Liverpudlian beauty is set to tour Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Edinburgh and Liverpool over the next two months to perform in the show.

She’s already lost three stone from a strict diet and exercise plan and her healthy new lifestyle has done wonders for her self confidence, which radiated in these latest family pictures.

Despite undertaking a strict diet though, Jennifer still let herself share an ice-lolly treat with her adorable son.

Her boxer husband Robbie Tickle doted over his wife and baby in the park, as the couple gave Bobby and adventure swing ride and encouraged him to take his first steps.
