Early release: Lindsay Lohan, pictured at her court hearing back in July, could be released from rehab tomorrow
Lindsay Lohan has been released from rehab, according to U.S. reports.
The troubled star is said to have been ushered out of back door at the UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles tonight after serving three weeks of a 90-day stay.
Celebrity website Radar Online claims the actress called her mother Dina as soon as she got out.
It comes as another early release for the Mean Girls actress, who served just 13 days of a 90-day prison term for probation violations stemming from a 2007 DIU charge.
The news comes following reports Judge Elden Fox was expected to make a ruling to make a new rehab order, shortening Lohan's court-ordered stay in treatment.
According to RadarOnline everything was set for her release tonight, including a three-car decoy to get her out of UCLA and away from the media.
Apparently doctors treating her believed that the 90-day stay ordered by the previous judge in the case, Marsha Revel, was excessive and were recommending an early release.
A surprise appearance in court today by Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, added to the speculation.
However, there is no indication as to what she discussed in the judge's chambers.
Lohan, 24, was jailed on July 20 for violating probation on a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence and served just 13 days of her sentence due to overcrowding.
She was then taken to the rehab facility, located in the Westwood area of Los Angeles on August 3.
Lohan has a small role in the film Machete, released in the U.S. next month.
