Trailer for 'Green Day: Rock Band' Video Game

While waiting for 'Green Day: Rock Band' to be released in 2010, gamers can enjoy a sneak peek through its trailer.

Green Day is the next band who will get a Rock Band video game treatment by Harmonix, a game-maker owned by MTV Networks. The announcement was made at the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards on Saturday, December 12 and followed by the arrival of its trailer.

"We've worked with the 'Rock Band' team in the past year to enable our fans to play tracks from '21st Century Breakdown', and we're excited to now be working on a game spanning our entire career," said frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. "We want people to fire this up, choose their favorite Green Day tracks and play along with us as 'Rock Band' avatars so they can feel what it's like to perform on stage as Green Day."

The game is expected to come out sometime next year. Before it arrives for playing pleasure, fans will be treated with the band's there songs "Christian's Inferno", "Last of the American Girls" and "Viva La Gloria" which will be made available for download on the Rock Band Music Store starting Tuesday, December 15.
