When it comes to shoes, Kim Kardashian likes nothing less than a skyscraper heel.
But the reality star may have to stock up on flat shoes after breaking her toe.

Kim became a casualty of her transatlantic lifestyle when she tripped over a suitcase in her New York hotel room.


Kim tweeted: 'I knew my clumsiness would catch up with me at some point!'

True to form Kim was wearing an impressive pair of leopard print stiletto platform ankle boots, teamed with a pencil skirt and jacket. Her sister chose an oversized animal print coat, with a warm fur hat.

The sisters are in the city filming their new reality show, Kourtney And Kim Take New York. They are opening a new Dash clothing store, adding to the family business.

And Kourtney is even considering making the move permanent, with boyfriend Scott Disick and their ten-month-old son Mason.

She and Scott have had well-documented problems in their relationship, but see the move to New York as being a chance for a fresh start.

Kourtney blogged about their use of therapy yesterday, writing: 'It always boggles my mind the way some people react to people going to therapy. To us, it’s one of the best things we can do to keep a healthy and strong relationship. I’m all about it.'

Meanwhile Kim chose to join Kourtney after breaking up with her last boyfriend, NFL player Miles Austin.

Her mother Kris Jenner has spoken out about her daughter's love life, saying that Kim is not looking for a celebrity for her next boyfriend.

'Any of you out there ace a cute son you want to set her up with, give me a tingle,' she said on Rachael Ray's U.S. TV talk show.

Of her daughter, she added: 'She's 30-tears old and having the time of her life. I'm so proud of Kim - she's independent and successful and so happy inside. Such a dear girl.'

She also denied rumours her daughter was dating John Mayer, insisting: 'John Mayer is just a friend. The other guys they've been mentioning are too!

'She is single - really single, for the first time in her entire life. And she is having so much fun.

'So sorry John Mayer, I love you - but they're just friends.'
