'One at a Time' music video sees Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy meeting local heroes in Africa, Philippines and India who dedicate their lives to fight against HIV/AIDS.
In the spirit of World AIDS Day on December 1, Travis McCoy has released a charity track "One at a Time" and debuted a music video in support of the song. It follows the Gym Class Heroes' vocalist as he travels to South Africa, Philippines and India as a spokesperson for MTV's Staying Alive Foundation.
"This track comes straight from the heart. It encompasses everything that I saw and felt on the trip," the ex-boyfriend of pop star Katy Perry shared. "I met some amazing and inspiring young people - and this track is dedicated to them and their tireless and selfless commitment to the fight against HIV and AIDS." All proceeds from the song will benefit global HIV/AIDS prevention projects.
Travis McCoy's trip is documented on MTV's "The Unbeaten Track" which airs on December 1. "The trip was all in the span of about 11 days. Ten flights and three different countries. It was kind of a lot to take in in such a short amount of time, but it was so inspiring to meet all these people who are faced with so much adversity, but who overcome that and use what they've learned to help others," he told NME.
