Hundreds of struggling homeowners listen to an orientation before meeting with financial counselors and then with their bank's representative in the hopes of renegotiating their home loan, at an event organized by the non profit Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) at the Los Angeles Convention Center on September 28, 2009. Thousands of homeowners showed up for the free event and waited long hours for the opportunity to meet with NACA financial counselors and then their bank on the spot, giving homeowners the chance to renegotiate their mortgage terms and prevent foreclosure on their home. Organizers call it the 'Save the Dream Tour.'

A print by Indonesian artist Agus Suwage, "Behind the curtain", combines the text of Indonesia's anti-pornography law with a female nude. Suwage knows what it is like to run up against the religious conservatives. Four years ago, he was hauled into parliament, where lawmakers accused him of blasphemy and of producing pornography dressed up as art. Today, facing an even more restrictive climate in Indonesia, Suwage refuses to be silenced and has made those restrictions the focus of his art.
