"It came on when I was a teenager, and I think it somehow sticks with you," the actress says when opening up about her stage fright.
Notwithstanding her high profile status as one of Hollywood's A-list actresses, Scarlett Johansson admits, "I have terrible stage fright that I'd have to get over." Revealing more about it in an interview with Glamour Magazine for its November issue, she says "It came on when I was a teenager, and I think it somehow sticks with you."
Even until present time, working the red carpet still makes her freak out. "I have a tumultuous relationship with it because I love to get ready for the red carpet, but being on it is very uncomfortable. It's so freakish and weird," Scarlett confesses. "I get flop sweats, dry mouth, heart palpitations, allover panic!"
"I did this movie with John Travolta, and every time I looked over at John on the red carpet, he looked so fabulous. So I said to him, 'What do you do?' And he said, 'I go to Hawaii in my mind'," she continues speaking.
When asked by Glamour Magazine on what she would love to do in the future, Scarlett opens up "You never know. I might open my own bakery!" But she is quick to add, "The thing is, I don't know how to do anything else, other than things that relate to film ... I don't know anything except for movies, other than some Trivial Pursuit kind of information."
Beside sharing her terrible stage fright, Scarlett Johansson also addresses some other issues regarding her personal life, like her marriage to actor husband Ryan Reynolds and the endless speculation about her weight. Her full interview is featured in the November issue of Glamour Magazine, which will go on sale next Tuesday, October 6.
