Meet the freaks of Cirque Du Freak from Evra the Snake Boy to Corma Limbs to Mr. Tall through a compilation of character clips from Darren Shan's novel adaptation.
After a featurette that centers on Darren came forth, Universal Pictures has unleashed another sneak peek to "The Vampire's Assistant" by releasing a compilation of character clips. Compiled into one video, the footage features a closer look at a number of Cirque du Freak members as well as other major characters.
Orlando Jones' Alexander Ribs, Ken Watanabe's Hibernius Tall, Jane Krakowski's Corma Limbs and Patrick Fugit's Evra Von the Snake Boy are among the members of the traveling freak show presented in the clips. Chris Massoglia's Darren Shan, Josh Hutcherson's Steve, John C. Reilly's Larten Crepsley and Michael Cerveris' Desmond Tiny also make the cut.
Adapted from the first three books of Darren Shan's "The Saga of Darren Shan" series, "The Vampire's Assistant" follows 16-year-old Darren. Stumbling upon a pamphlet of Cirque Du Freak one day, he and his best friend Steve satisfy their curiosity by checking out the traveling freak show. And, when the show ends, Darren gets an offer he couldn't bear to resist, becoming a vampire.
Pulled into a fantastic life of misunderstood sideshow freaks and grotesque creatures of the night, he will vanish from the safety of a boring existence and fulfill his destiny in a place drawn from nightmares. But, one thing that he doesn't know is that he unknowingly breaks a 200-year-old truce between two warring factions of vampires. The movie will be opened wide in U.S. on October 23.
